Victory Poker Bans US Players

Victory Poker, a member of the Cake Poker Network, banned U.S. players today.  This was in response to the Black Friday indictments against the founders and payment processors of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Cereus.  Victory Poker launched on Everleaf gaming on February 1, 2010.  On September 1, 2010 Victory Poker moved to the Cake Poker Network.

Part of the appeal of both networks is that they accepted U.S. players.  One has to wonder if another move is in their future to a non U.S. friendly network.  At one point Victory Poker had announced that they would be joining Absolute Poker and UB on Cereus but that does not look like it will happen as the Cereus Network’s future is very much in doubt.

Even though Victory Poker banned U.S. players Cake Poker, the network flagship, still accepts U.S. players.  If you played on Victory Poker or are looking for a U.S. friendly online poker room you can sign up for Cake Poker and get 33% rakeback and a 110% up to $600 first deposit bonus.
