Trouble at UseMyWallet and QuickTender?

It looks like there may be trouble at UseMyWallet which is also known as QuickTender.  Players have been reporting that cashouts requested earlier in May were not getting processed at their usual speed.  Players that have contacted UseMyWallet have gotten canned responses such as the following:

Thank you for contacting the QuickTender Help Desk.

Please be advised that there was an issue with your recent withdrawal request, which has not been processed by the US banking partner. We are investigation this issue at the moment.

This situation is beyond our control as it relates to the onward transmission of funds transmitted by our European banking partner.

Please be advised that we will do everything we can to resolve this situation.

Please feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

The main Merge Gaming cashier has removed UseMyWallet as a deposit option.  This includes the cashier for Carbon Poker and RPM Poker.  While these online poker rooms are still U.S. friendly they do not currently have a U.S. friendly ewallet deposit option unless a player already had a Click2Pay account which they would have had to set up prior to passage of the UIGEA in 2006.

If you have money in your UseMyWallet account you may want to find a safe home for it with an online poker room.  At the time of this post Cake Poker still has UseMyWallet as a deposit option.  Cake Poker is U.S. friendly and if you sign up through my rakeback site you will receive 33% rakeback and a 110% up to $600 first deposit bonus.

There is good news though.  Emails are still getting answered and live chat still works.  It may just be a problem with a processor that can get resolved although it is understandable that players are getting impatient after the shutdowns of EcheckUS and EwalletXpress.  Black Friday is also fresh in poker player’s minds.  I will continue to monitor the situation and will post when there is more news.

  1. Yea I am familiar with all those replies. Quicktender customer service is horrible. I don’t know how I’m going to get my money. I reported this to the casino also. They have no issue taking your deposits but getting your withdrawal seems to be an issue now.

  2. The management of Quicktender would like to make the following statement regarding the current situation with UseMyWallet/Quicktender withdrawals:

We have operated a reputable and reliable payment mechanism for US customers since 2006. Our reputation is important to us, and until recently there has never been any question that players and merchants would be paid. In order to achieve this, we have built over many years relationships with payment intermediaries that share our values of honesty and integrity. In the jurisdictions from which we offer our services we are proud to be properly licensed and constituted, and have even worked with US law enforcement on occasions where criminal activity has been identified.

However, we cannot always predict some of the vagaries of the US administration. Over the past 2 weeks we have in good faith transmitted withdrawals initiated by Quicktender account holders to beneficiary bank accounts in the US. The money left our account in Europe. It was only in response to increasing complaints from our customers that we recognized there was a problem, and asked our bank to investigate. It emerges that the money has been accumulated in our bank’s correspondent banking partners accounts in the US, and has been frozen. We suspect it is possible that these funds may be subject to a seizure order by the US authorities. We would stress that we do not have bank accounts in the US of our own, and that the funds have left our account Europe.

It is our express intention to ensure that the funds of our account holders are safe. For this reason we have decided to suspend future withdrawals until we understand what has happened to the money that has been frozen. If we continue to transmit bank wires into the US we could find that these funds also do not reach their ultimate beneficiaries. This would simply make the problem worse.

We ask our customers to bear with us in these difficult times. Please be assured that we have always honored our obligations in the past, and that we will make every effort to overcome these current difficulties. It is not in the interests of anybody to attempt to financially impact QuickTender further. These actions may impact the future viability of the company and the ability of the company to pay its customers. We are assessing our current exposure, and how best to reintroduce withdrawals safely.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their past loyalty, and to reiterate that we will take all possible steps to ensure that our customers money is secure.

Please feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

  3. They are thieves. I have been billed twice for several transactions multiple times. Close any bank account you have with them. They will take out money without your permission. Especially now that they are under investigation.

  4. i have funds in my account, how am i suppose to make a withdraw and recieve them??? does anyone know how i can get my money from them?

    • It would seem very unlikely that money can be recovered, at least any time soon. Players are still waiting to see the outcome of EwalletXpress and that was last year. Contact your reps in Congress if you have serious money there and demand they get involved.

  5. As of the 1st week in July I tried to go back into my quicktender acct. And now it says my acct is locked I made a deposit into my acct on May 24th and on May 25th I tried to transfer it into one of my casino acct and it was shut down that quick. Now that I can finally get thru to the quick tender site I have sent dozens of e-mails and offline chat complaints and no one will respond. Can someone please help me. It wasn’t that much money but it is mine. What should I do ?

  6. Why do they have my acct locked. How do I transfer my money to one of my casino sites. No one will respond to dozens of e-mails and offline chats. My money has been there since 24th of May and on May 25th quicktender was suddenly shut down so they say. Why won’t they unlock my acct so I can transfer my money? why won’t they respond to my messages?
