and PlayersOnly Will Stop Accepting New US Players

On May 1st U.S. players will have even fewer option in online poker.  Jazette, which owns, PlayersOnly and SuperBook, will stop accepting new U.S. players.  There is a bright spot though.  Existing U.S. players will still be able to play at these rooms and deposit and cashout as normal.

Considering brought in a large number of casual poker players to the Merge Gaming Network I am somewhat concerned about what this may do to the game quality there.  Since Merge Gaming is now the biggest U.S. friendly online poker room it should not change things too drastically but it will hurt the fish count, at least a little.

Merge Gaming will continue to accept new U.S. players.  If you missed the deadline for and PlayersOnly you can still sign up for Carbon Poker and RPM Poker.  Both sites offer 35% rakeback and accept U.S. players.
