New Version of RakeTracker Launches

If you read my blog on a regular basis you will notice that I have not been an active blogger lately.  For a couple of weeks I was involved in a major project at RakeTracker.  RakeTracker was completely overhauled for the first time in about three years.  Several new features were added including a new blog section as well as very detailed bonus and rakeback information.

The content was written by RakeTracker’s parent company content writer.  Part of my project was to enter the content into the code.  This was tedious to say the least.  I also wrote some of the content and helped with SEO on the site.  Once it was live, I was involved in the QA work to make sure that there were not any bugs or typos.

I work independently but one of my biggest clients is the parent company of RakeTracker.  This project was different than most of my other work.  It was nice to get a break from the writing and do some work on the technical side with some coding and SEO.  The project was months in the making and it is nice to see it live.  It seems players are enjoying the new site and there were no bugs.  The transition was seamless.  Check out the new site and if you have any suggestions leave a comment here or contact RakeTracker support.

Next, I have a major online poker content writing project that should take me about another week.  From there, who knows.  Part of working as a freelancer means that there is something different to do every few weeks.  It never gets dull and it is hard to burnout.  Hopefully the work will continue to come in.
